Unity Community Action Council, Inc. takes a stand against poverty by focusing on alleviating human suffering to seek, identify, and eliminate the causes of poverty in the Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Marion, Schley, Sumter, Taylor, and Webster counties.

The mission of Unity Community Action Council is collaborating with partners in our community to assist low-income families in West Central Georgia with adovcacy and services promoting economic security.

Our tripartite board oversee and governs Unity Community Action Council’s leadership in aligning mission with purpose and guiding the strategic plan into action. This board structure is not just the right thing to do, it has been mandated since 1968 by the federal government in order for Community Action Agencies to receive CSBG funding.
