Community Action Agencies across Georgia are facing a critical threat — the potential elimination of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), a lifeline for thousands of families working hard to overcome poverty and hardship.

As someone who has personally benefited from and devoted my career to these programs, I know how life-changing CSBG-supported services can be. From Senior Services to Weatherization, youth initiatives, and more — these programs empower people to change their lives and build a stronger, more resilient Georgia.

This is personal. My journey started as a single mom seeking help. Through Community Action, I became a HUD-certified housing counselor, bought my first home, and now proudly serve as a Community Services Manager helping others walk that same path.
